Coronavirus Statement

Update 03/11/2020:

From Thursday, 5th November our physical location – the Record Shack – will once again be closed in line with government lockdown guidelines. Initially this is for a four-week period but check back here for any updates when the time is right.

In the meantime we will continue to operate online. You can get get your hands on vinyl in the following ways:

Mail Order – order via the website and we’ll ship these out to any address in the world. We’re pretty quick too, you know.
Click & Collect – our shop is shut for browsing and general being openness, but you can still attend the premises to collect orders you have placed if you are local enough (or fancy a big drive). This applies to new orders and existing pre-orders that will arrive during this four-week period.

Our shop will not be “open behind closed doors” so to speak, so if you’ve ordered something to collect you need to wait for us to arrange a suitable collection window with you. We’ll e-mail you to sort this. Please don’t just turn up as the shop will very likely be completely shut.
Local Drop-Off – We are reinstating our drop-off service for local residents in the Stourbridge and Dudley area. Successful though it was during Lockdown Part 1, Click & Collect is highly preferable where customers are able. But if you are not able to venture out, we are happy to drop the goodies to you.

Due to the heightened impact of the Coronavirus pandemic across the globe, the world of business is running at a slower pace to protect the safety of every one of us. This means that our suppliers might be running slower than usual, and if you’ve ordered a back-order title it may take a little longer than the advertised expectations. There are also significant delays in shipping worldwide, with couriers dealing with unprecedented levels of deliveries, not to mention the added difficulties caused with some countries in advanced lock-down situations. If you have placed an order, please be patient and expect some level of delay somewhere in the chain. Rest assured the whole world is doing everything to the best of its ability right now. If you have allowed for delays but still have concerns about your order or delivery, please contact us via our Contact & Support page.
