Waiting Around is a fitting title for John Stammer’s sophomore record, released no sooner than six years since his fan base had his debut self-titled record in their mitts. Being analogue sound’s best friend, the record can again be expected to be very naturalistic in the way that it has been created and recorded. If lead single of the same name, ‘Waiting Around’, is any kind of marker then this could be a hugely triumphant LP this year in the Brit-folk scene.
