Khruangbin really came to the fore when they released Con Todo El Mundo in 2018; a glorious record that saw ‘60s psychedelia meet funk with Mediterranean influences. Truly mind-meddling stuff. In 2020, the trio collaborate with American soul singer Leon Bridges. Both hail from different parts of Texas and the sheer size of USA’s second biggest state inspired a concept album of sorts about traversing the sprawling landscape of the deep south. Texas Sun is music made for road trips with the windows rolled down. Texas Sun is available on limited translucent orange vinyl.
