Girls On Bikes Boys Who Sing
Girls On Bikes Boys Who Sing is the new album from Trip-Hop trio Monophona. Following their acclaimed 2015 release Black on Black, the Luxembourg-based band are back with a fiery fusion of trip-hop, indie and electronica that reflects on modern technology, politics and everything in between.
Available via Kapitann Platte, on Limited Edition 500 hand-numbered 12" vinyl, Girls on Bikes Boys Who Sing is a powerhouse of an album.
Angrier and more political than previous offerings, it still delivers eerily beautiful vocals and poignant lyrics that will resonate with fans.
Comprised of members Claudine Muno, Jorsch Kass and Chook, Monophona first introduced their unique blend of gentle acoustic vibes meets ultra-modern electronica with debut album The Spy in 2012.
With Back on Black, they built on their quirky, nonconformist style, delivering a mix of melancholy and optimism within ten genre-spanning tracks. Now with their most recent release, their sound soars, with an added slickness and newfound confidence that promises Monophona are here to stay.
