The Nerves were a short-lived new wave and power-pop trio who have often been left among the weeds when people talk about the great new wave acts of the 1980s. But The Nerves knew a thing or two about creating the perfect power-punk song and on One Way Ticket they are here in droves – from ‘Paper Dolls’ to ‘When You Find Out’ and not forgetting ‘Hanging On The Telephone’; the song that would be made famous a short while later by Blondie.
