Coldplay's fourth studio album sees the band emerge from the success of 2005's X&Y with the same hunger that has gained them global success ever since 2000's Parachutes.
It includes the singles, 'Viva la Vida', 'Violet Hill', 'Lovers In Japan', 'Strawberry Swing' and 'Lost!' and features production by Brian Eno, Markus Dravs, Jon Hopkins and Rik Simpson. Chris Martin chose the album title after seeing the phrase, which means "long live life," on a painting by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.
