Dummy is the 1994 debut studio album by UK electronic-trip hop outfit Portishead (Geoff Barrow and Beth Gibbons). The album was universally lauded upon release and in 1995 won the Mercury Music Prize (beating Oasis’ Definitely Maybe and PJ Harvey’s To Bring You My Love, by the way.) Dummy also features one the band’s most iconic tracks, ‘Glory Box’.
