Christine McVie - Songbird (A Solo Collection)

Christine McVie who died in 2022 had a wonderful blues voice from Chicken Shack in 1967 with her sweetly husky delivery of I’d Rather Go Blind, before replacing Peter Green on keyboards and vocals in 1970 for a long and tumultuous career with Fleetwood Mac to 2020 after which she produced this last solo compilation album. It contains some classic Christine McVie vocals culminating in the haunting rendition of Songbird.
