Brighton folk-rockers Levellers have been one of Britain’s best-loved bands for nearly 40 years. And part of that success has been built on their platinum-selling, second album Levelling The Land, which celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2026.
Recorded at Ridge Farm studios in Surrey over the summer of 1991, the album was produced by Al Scott, and featured the huge UK hit singles "One Way", "15 Years" and "Far From Home", as well as fan favourites "The Game", "Liberty Song", "The Riverflow", "Boatman" and the incendiary "Battle Of The Beanfield".
Revisiting the album three and a half decades later, Scott has delivered a brand new mix of the original LP, opening up the the stereo image, which will feature on the new 1LP and on the expanded 3CD.
The 3CD Expanded Edition also features a second disc including 5x B-Sides and 9x previously unreleased Outtakes, as well as a third disc with 12x previously unreleased Demos.
