Blane Muise, better known by her stage name Shygirl, is an English singer, DJ, rapper, songwriter and co-head/founder of record label and collective Nuxxe. Shygirl's music incorporates elements of dance music, industrial hip-hop, experimental pop, grime and deconstructed club. Shygirl releases fabric exclusive single Making the Beast alongside the exciting announcement of her inclusion in fabric's prestigious presents series. The release of Fabric Presents Shygirl marks the beginning of fabric’s 25th-anniversary celebrations, with Shygirl leading the charge as the first of five artists to curate mixes throughout the year, each featuring the CD tins. Shygirl has gained recent support from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Mixmag, and BBC Radio & 6 following her Club Shy EP.
