Entertainment!

Entertainment! is the debut album by post-punk and all-round influencers Gang Of Four. Released in 1979, the album came at the tail end of punk rock and, while certainly influenced heavily by punk, became a staple of the more expansive post-punk scene. Gang Of Four would go on to become synonymous with the influential post-punk genre, alongside contemporaries such as Wire, Public Image Ltd and The Fall. Entertainment! is generally regarded as the best Gang Of Four album and can routinely be found in many "best album" lists.
