Mystic Familiar is an album from American electronic composer Dan Deacon. Since his last album proper, 2015’s Gliss Riffer, Deacon has cut his teeth in film scoring, most notably providing the soundscape to Rat Film. Returning to recording his own music, Mystic Familiar is an exploratory new direction informed by therapeutic practices of self-compassion and mindfulness.
