Formed largely around late-60s inspired psychedelia and fuzzy garage rock, Innerspeaker is the 2010 debut album from Tame Impala. Often thrown in with garbage like Wolfmother at the time – “Australians doing rock music” – even back then there was something else far bigger at work with Kevin Parker. Here, a man who played and recorded all the instruments, was pushing the boundaries of psych-rock to the limit. Innerspeaker is available on double vinyl LP.
