After breaking out in the UK punk scene in 2017 with debut album Brutalism, IDLES continued to build bridges between UK punk and indie rock with their accessible brand of punk on 2018’s goliath hit record Joy As An Act Of Resistance. Ultra Mono, their third, is set to be their biggest and boldest yet. Working with hip hop producer Kenny Beats, Ultra Mono has been constructed to capture the feeling of a hip hop record. As you’d expect, the vitriolic social commentary is never too far away either.
