Beginnings is the debut album by Ambrose Slade, who later achieved fame as Slade. Originally released on 9 May 1969, it failed to enter the charts. The band became unstoppable throughout the seventies becoming one of Europe's biggest bands, releasing 6 smash hit albums, including three UK No-1’s, a run of 17 consecutive Top 20 singles, with their hits since becoming synonymous with the glam era. Beginnings is pressed onto splatter vinyl for the first time and includes smash hits ‘Genesis’, ‘Pity The Mother’ and Born To Be Wild.
