The Universal Want is available in a limited edition numbered boxset, which includes a picture disc LP with a lenticular album cover, a cassette, 12" art prints, postcards, plus a remix 12" disc. Alternatively, there is a indie store exclusive white vinyl too.
The Universal Want is the first album in a decade from UK indie nobility Doves. Following a ten-year hiatus, the trio reformed in the summer of 2019 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their 1999 debut LP Lost Souls. A new album was anticipated but never confirmed. Now here it is, The Universal Want; the trio's fifth album overall.
