Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was is available in two limited coloured formats: a transparent orange/transparent red double LP and an indie store exclusive transparent blue/transparent red double LP. Both limited formats are housed in die-cut sleeve and feature a phenakistoscope etching on the D-side.

Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was; the hugely anticipated 10^th album from indie rock icons Bright Eyes, and first since 2011 following their 2020 reunion. Down In The Weeds hints at being Bright Eyes’ most collaborative album to date, with a writing process that was done in stints and in separation; a change to the band’s tried and tested formula for 25 years. Down In The Weeds purports to be an album of anxiety, on a global level at least, but on a personal level speaks of nostalgia and simpler times. Hopefulness and emotional reconnections.
