Mint Julep comprises married couple Hollie and Keith Kenniff and me thinks the Kenniff homestead may have been popping some Tame Impala on the multi-room sound system this year. Coincidence perhaps, but second album Stray Fantasies doesn’t half give Kevin Parker a cheeky wink. Certainly lead single ‘Blinded’ anyway. Though the duo has varying ambient projects to their name, Stray Fantasies is an album of lush and punching indie synth-pop and very welcome it is too. Stray Fantasies is available as a coloured vinyl LP.
